Located in east Pierce County, Sumner-Bonney Lake School District has strong business and community partnerships that support high expectations for all students. SBLSD is committed to being a great place to learn for each one of its nearly 10,000 students, every day, in every classroom. District boundaries span the cities of Bonney Lake, Sumner, along with parts of Edgewood, Pacific, Tehaleh and unincorporated areas of Pierce County. SBLSD comprises 9 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 2 high schools and 1 alternative high school program.
